iOS 7: Multitasking Taken To New Level With Handy ‘Kill Switch’ (Concept Video)

Monday, September 2, 2013

Fans of Apple and the iPhone are very interested in hearing more news about iOS 7, which will be the next big update to the OS. While we are waiting for its final build arrival, we thought you might want to take a look at a designers idea for multi-tasking support, which many fans may want to see Apple implement in iOS given that we’ve yet to see everything that iOS 7 is capable of.

Often when we see concept designs for phones it is to catch a glimpse of what we could see when the real thing arrives. This concept follows on from the one over the weekend, which we thought came with some very innovative features.

The design is from Ran Avni and he recently showed us his concept of the iPhone 6. The latest concept from him is all about multi-tasking on iOS 7. We think that his idea is superb. At the moment iOS allows different tasks to run behind the scenes, however this concept allows for better multi-tasking support.

Check out the latest concept video which gives fans a glimpse into multi-tasking for controlling the open apps on the iPhone. The best thing about the whole idea is the Close All button; this allows owners to close all apps that are open with one click. This would be an excellent idea for Jony Ive and his team to include in iOS 7.

So take a look at the video and tell us what you think. Is this something that you would like to see in iOS 7 when it is released?
