Today’s apps worth downloading start with Fuse: Social, a social networking app that works by bringing all your messages and updates from multiple networks into one app. Up next is Drync, a wine-scanning app that lets users save their favorite bottles and re-order them for delivery straight to your house. Finally, we’ve got Fingerval, a casual iPad title in which players guide objects around bombs and other hazards using touch controls.

What’s cool? Drync is an app for scanning wine labels, connecting wine lovers to a huge database filled with wines and information about them. The idea is that you can use Drync to scan the wines you discover and like as you’re tasting them, so you’ll won’t forget the ones you enjoy. You can also view ratings and information about wines after scanning them, and best of all, you can use Drync to re-order bottles of wine from your list and have them delivered to your door. Drync also brings recommendations from somoliers, lets you take notes on the wines you’ve scanned, and includes social network features so you can share what you’re drinking and enjoying with other users on Facebook and Twitter.



Who’s it for? Wine lovers, Drync is a handy app for saving the wines you enjoy and ordering more.

Fingervals (iPad) ($1.99)

What’s cool? Fingervals is an endless game in which your goal is to protect a circle from incoming bombs. You can move the circle by dragging it with your finger, and as soon as you do, bombs start to fall from the top of the screen. You’ll need to keep the circle out of harm’s way for as long as possible, grabbing power-ups and points along the way to rack up a high score and survive for even longer. Fingervals ups the ante over time by introducing new circles for you to control and protect, requiring more and more dexterity and more and more fingers to keep going.



Who’s it for? Fans of casual games that test dexterity and are simple, and yet challenging, should check out Fingervals.
